Project Manager

The Project Manager position is a hands-on role responsible for requirements management, planning and scope management, implementation, and lifecycle support. The manager assists in developing clear and consistent communications related to an overall program that supports an IT modernization strategy, throughout the multi-year lifecycle. Compelling and consistent messaging is important to the success of this effort and the manager will work with multiple cross functional stakeholders to define and communicate the strategy. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with strong relationship and communication skills and will have experience leading agile development efforts, rationalizing IT portfolios, and developing acquisition strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years or more of Program Management experience planning and managing DOD IT programs
  • Experience managing two or more DocuSign or similar COTS products in SaaS
  • Experience using Agile PM practices on two or more projects
  • Experience with Software Development
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Bachelor’s degree. Desirable degrees include Business Administration, Information Technology Management, Public Administration, or a related field of study
  • Secret clearance
  • PMI PMP certification

A highly qualified candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of and ability to implement meeting facilitation principles and practices
  • Experience performing stakeholder analysis and resulting communications plans
  • Understanding of all aspects of project management including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement management
  • Ability to synthesize complex, multi-functional data into meaningful information for effective management action
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Knowledge of software or product development life cycle
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in word processing, presentation packages, and risk analysis tools
  • Ability to work well with and through others – securing the willing cooperation from assigned/matrixed resources, as well as government, industry, other contractor representatives

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Desirable degrees include Business Administration, Information Technology Management, Public Administration or a related field of study

Certification/Security Clearance Requirements:

Secret Clearance
Program Management Institute Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
